I think it is called call of the dead because the name of the series is call of duty...pretty big coincidence and zombies are dead, therefore call of the dead.

Black Ops Honestly is not that good but the Zombie storyline that there Creating is Amazing and also very Entertaining.. it's the only thing that makes me ever play that game. Nice guess it would be really cool if you were right!
