I've been looking around trying to find a jtag and I've had no luck so i was wondering what is the best choice and where to get it any suggestions?

Check out [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] that's where i got mine from and also would suggest a Xenon if it's ur first jtag if not go for the jasper shouldn't suffer from RROD
