So I have a Pinnacle Movie Box Ultimate, It records hd. I was wondering what cables I need to record hd with it. I need the xbox to hook up to the tv still for a display, the screen capture on my computer isn't big enough to play off of.
It has a input and a output side.
The input has a Dv, video, s-video, and left/right audio sockets.
The output has Usb, video, s-video, and left/right audio sockets.
I have an hd tv. It doesn't have video outputs as most don't.
I hook up my xbox using a hdmi cable, I have a av and composite cable as well if that will help.
Can anyone give me a link to the cables I need and an approximate cost? Thanks!

The only way to record in HD is if you use an HDMI cable, hook it up from your xbox to your dazzle then use a recording program.

Exactly..If you want to record in HD you'll need an HDPVR.

So your saying s-video and dv are not able to record high def? Even something like a hdmi splitter that goes to either one (if they can record hd)

You did not do your research before buying this product.
It does not record in HD, but the video can be rendered into HD to play 720p on youtube. Keep in mind this is not true HD. But the absolute best quality you can get with your dazzle is 480p, using your s-video cable.
