The difference between Commando and Tactical Knife

Ok. So the best class to have is:
Sub Machine Gun
Pistol w/ Tactical Knife
Throwing Knife or Grenade
Stun (Stuns are faster to throw out.)
Perk 1 Marathon
Perk 2 Lightwieght
Perk 3 Commando or Ninja
Now if you are using a tactical knife only like you just have your Primary gun for just looks then you do not need commando at all. Commando doesn't lunge for Tactical Knifes. Then use ninja. Silent footsteps (Pro only) and invisible to heartbeat sensors.
But if you use both then you will decide whether to use Commando or not. But commando on tactical knifes does nothing. Just faster melee. But if you are like me and use the UMP 45 silenced all the time then use commando.

Its not a lie. I used tactical Knife with commando it does nothing. All I do is knife someone and it misses. It doesn't lunge or go farther.

i always use ninja pro with the tac knife. it seems like everytime i use commando with it i always miss em. marathon pro, cold blooded pro, ninja pro, with scar an tac knife

He is right, commando+tactical knife=useless.
I always use Tac Knife with Ninja.

Yeah i noticed that to when you have commando and tactical knife, it is absolutely useless.

umm its not useless, u do lunge further there are times u dont lunge but that doesn't mean it doesn't work, i absoluly hate a tatical knife without commando when u go to knife someone and they are less then a foot away( i know he would of knifed him with commando) and i miss and this guy turns aroudn and kills me. I dunno thats just my opinion i find i can knife people way further with commando and a tac.

I always use ninja with a tac knife, but I think using commando (as long as it's pro) can help. I think if you're knifing only having that no falling damage bonus is a huge help.
