M4's were in the vietnam war. There is bunches of old videos on the military channel talking about the M4's.

The M1 Garand was the military's best gun for awhile actually. More around the World War II Era.

But this gives Treyarch a chance. A chance to make these guns and game right. If they do. They could be better than IW. Now I love IW. Now on that same link is some....combat aircrafts. Like...AC-130 Now I hope Treyarch brings all of this. Maybe they can make a good game. But that link above is all the weapons used. From WW2 to the Vietnam War is what the COD7 Game will be based on. I hope Treyarch makes it right

Also the MP40 was a German manufactured/used weapon and was not used in Vietnam. The M21 was also not in Vietnam. If it was it was in the very last part of the war. It was manufactured in 1975 (father of the M14) and is just a modified M14 used for sniping.

Uhh if they bring killstreaks back like ac-130 and chopper, the game will be nothing but campers. Think about it, in mw1 not many campers, mw2 on the other hand, campers everywhere. The campers think like this: "I need to camp so I can get my nuke."
