Hey guys,
So as most of you know the DLC is out and everyone wants to know how to get it for free.

Info on DLC:

There are 4 kits, one for each class, specific unique uniforms and camouflaged weapons gives you a visual edge. I mean what good is a camouflaged soldier if the gun sticks out like a sore thumb?

Recruited strictly from other high-level Special Operations units such as Delta Force and Spetsnaz, the Special Activities groups – SPECACT - are the elite of the elite, used mainly for covert operations and other high-risk missions in areas where conventional troops cannot be used.

With the 4 kit specific unique uniforms and the camouflaged SPECACT personal M16A2, UMP-45, MG3 and M95 SNIPER you have a visual edge on the Battlefield, showing that you’re a force to be reckoned with. The pack also includes 12 new awards and 4 Achievements.

UPDATE: Players obtaining the kit upgrades through the Dr Pepper promotion will not currently be able to obtain the 4 achievements. We are working to update this and any progress you make towards the achievements will be counted when the fix is available in North America. Thanks for your understanding and patience.

In North America the kit upgrades are only available on Xbox 360 using the Dr Pepper codes printed on special promotional cans.


In Europe and the UK you can get hold of the kit upgrades for:

Xbox Live Marketplace
160 ******** per kit upgrade
440 ******** for bundle pack (all kits)

The kit upgrades will also be coming to PS3 and PC a little later on, we’ll post the exact release dates here as soon as we can.

Steps to Obtain for Free:

First:
Proceed to the following link for the Dr. Pepper Promotion Website ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] )

Use one of the following codes-

Second:
You will be required to answer 3 questions-
• What size did you purchase? (You may choose any answer)
• Where did you purchase? (You may choose any answer)
• What flavor did you purchase? (You may choose any answer)

Third:
You will need to put in account information-
A new email/account must be used to for each kit because these are non-unique codes. There is no verification for the email address so you can make up any one you wish. I also recommend using [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] for easy info.

Four:
After hitting submit, you will see a “My Account” screen. If you look towards the bottom of the page you will see a sentence saying “You have an exclusive EA Prize for Mass Effect 2.”

Right below the sentence is a “Claim Now” button. DO NOT CLICK THIS. Instead, right click and select copy link address. It should read something like ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] )

Next you paste this address into the URL of your browser, before hitting return/enter going to that page you must change the very last number “3” into a “4.” So it reads ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] )

Now hit submit/enter.

Five:
You will now see a “How to Claim Your Prize” screen, read as much as you like or just hit continue. Now you will need to log into the EA account registered to the gamertag you wish to gain access the DLC on. Ignore the rest of the boxes, fill in your information and hit “Login.”

Six:
There should be 5 games listed at the top not in any particular order-
• Mass Effect 2
• Battlefield Heroes
• Spore
• The Sims 3
• Battlefield: Bad Company 2

If you’re reading this tutorial you should select Battlefield as your desired game. So at the bottom right click the “Pick this Game” button.

Seven:
You will now see a “Pick a Prize” screen, with the four class upgrades listed-
• Assault Upgrade
• Engineer Upgrade
• Medic Upgrade
• Recon Upgrade

Choose one and hit pick this prize at the bottom right.

Eight:
Give it a few minutes I recommend 10-15 to make sure EA registers your action. Then turn on your Xbox 360 put in BFBC2 and check your “Weapons and Gadgets” tab in the multiplayer section.

Repeat:
To gain all the desired DLC packs (4) you return to ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ) and click sign out at the top right of the screen. Then re-paste the same URL again ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ) to go back to the main Code entry screen. Here you can plug in any of the 4 codes again and repeats steps 1-4. Once at step 5 it will not ask you to login into your EA account. So hit continue and then you should see step 6 on your screen again.
