The original M40 was based on the Remington 700 (R700) so if it is in black ops then expect it to look similar to the R700

The NVA (North Vietnamese Army) and VC (Viet Cong) used alot of captured weaponry.

VC/NVA main units were well equipped with excellent modern arms either from Soviet bloc or Chinese sources. In the early years of the insurgency in the South a larger variety of weapons were used, ranging from World War I-era bolt-action rifles to Nazi-era weapons.

other weapons used by them included:

MP40s
Thompsons
MG42s
M1919 Brownings
PPSH (both soviet & chinese)
and many more

That gun was so bull, it was an anti-tank gun, and in WaW you carry it around like its 10 pounds...also when you shoot someone you can get hitmarkers, that thing should blow you in half.

i've seen a good anaylsis of the trailer for this actually, i'll try & find it!
