Hello, basically these people are getting partnership by paying someone who has partnership to get there channel partner. Im not sure how this process works, but i have had friends who have done this. Today (3/5/11) Youtube have deleted most 'Fake' partnerships.
How to Spot a fake partnership?
- They won't have ads on there video
- usually a low amount of subscribers/upload views.
Examples of channels that HAD fake partnership ( notice the partner background)

If i have missed anything, please correct me.
So don't bother applying if you have a gaming channel, unless you have 500k+ upload views, you won't get it, seriously.

You dont get it for subscribers, you get it for hits in seperate areas, positive feedback and a good upload rate im a partner on my comedy channel

I understand this, as i said, must people who had fake partnership had under 10k total upload views, and under 2k subs. most of them were on a gaming channel, which unless partnered with machinima, is pretty much impossible.
