Ok guys so this map is epic and I could not stop playing it for the majority of my day. The secret with the door is killing me and I think we need a main topic for it just as we did for the Ascension easter egg. (There is definitely a purpose to this one) For the first few steps I will be using videos by xGooooNzz as visual and tutorial aid, credit goes to him for making the videos. Steps that are confirmed and working will be in red text and theories and steps that are not completed will be in blue text.

What we know:
Trapped behind the door awaits our familiar zombie slayes; Dr.Richtofen, Tank Dempsey, Takeo, and Nikolai. They are trapped and ask our COTD players for help to escape. They proceed to have us complete side missions for them, collecting things that will help them get the door open.

Step 1:



After turning the electric on you must go to the door (giant metal security door underneath front of lighthouse if you don't know) and listen to them talk to your team and knife the door. They will tell you they need a fuse in order to restore their electric. The fuse is located 1 floor above either on the desk next to flopper or a random spot in the room. Just go around the room holding X if you cannot find it; but be sure not to buy flopper if you are not intending to. Bring the fuse back down and hold X on the control panel to place it in.



Step 2:



Giving them the fuse they now have light and the security system will turn on. Turn around and you will see the generator has turned on, as well as the other 3 around the map. Throw a grenade, shoot a crossbow, or a scavenger shot at each generator to shut it off. After shutting all 4 off, return to the door and knife it.

Step 3:



The security system will now be offline and you need to get them a bottle of vodka. There should be one right in front of the lighthouse on the corner of the rails to the right of the box if you're facing it. Have a teammate go directly below it and knife the bottle so it falls down. They should catch it and have them go up to the message tubes right next to the door and hold X on it. This will send them the bottle of vodka and complete this step.

Step 4: Dr.Richtofen tells your team to get a golden rod, with fingers on the end. This can mean many things. A key, a pitchfork, a trident, a weapon (perhaps the V-R11), or a new theory; a plant. This is where we are stumped, and we need to develop new rational ideas and begin the search.

Other Info: With closer inspection of the loading screen I noticed something.

As seen in the top left corner, the ascension poster is behind the COTD poster. My theory is that this means that opening the door will combine both players and that Richtofen, Nikolai, Dempsey, and Takeo will be coming from Ascension. So I guess the rumors about something being behind those chained doors on Ascension were technically true, just not on that map.
