Just recently Obama canceled plans for future moon landings and wants to focus on landing on asteroids, could this be one reason? There´s been some speculation about an object that has been found in space which measures about 35 Kms. Some say that NASA has been monitoring this object for 8 months and it seems to be heading towards Earth.

It is said that we will be able to see this object with the naked eye by next year. The Cassini probe is watching this object and it is estimated that it is in the vecinity of Saturn.
Some say it could be some sort of alien structure (with accompanying citizens), some say it could be some sort of asteroid, some say it´s just a gas cloud and some claim SETI has received radio signals from it.
One can see the object on SKY-MAP.ORG and putting in the coordinates 19 25 12-89 46 03.
Visible in 2011 and here in 2012?
