please could you help me. whenever i try to access the Microsoft website it says "this page cannot be found" i am using the latest version of Google chrome but i have also tried Firefox and it comes up with the same problem. i really need help with this as i can not update any of the Microsoft software on my computer which is stopping me from installing some programs to my computer. any advice would be much appreciated but please dont just say "reload the page" thanks

What antivirus do you have on your system? and what operating system are you using?

I need net framework 3.5 or above for some of my programs. when i try and download it from another website other then Microsoft it cant install as it cannot connect to the server

Try downloading the standalone version of 3.5 using the link below and see if you have any luck.

As for your issues with connecting to Microsoft sites / update, does this happen anywhere besides the above?

It may be that Your ANTI-Virus is thinking Microsoft's webpage is a phishing attempt due to a login and password?
