Ace Combat 6 Review

Gameplay
The gameplay is fairly good, but only has 15 missions so a relatively small caimpaign.
The planes do not barrel roll so you are kinda missing out on the realism there. Manuvering is ok, but the high G turn is really good and realistic!
The planes are also really cool! But, the aim is a little off from the crosshair which can kinda be annoying. This is particularily a problem on the A-10, which in real life is known for it's 20mm vulcan cannon.

Graphics
Now, keep in mind this game was made in 2007.
The game has REALLY good graphics with the planes, but the ground is almost pixels.
The sky is pretty decent. Depending on your TV/Graphics card, it will be better. I played on 1080i so the sun reflecting of the plane was very stunning, shocking me completly.
Explosions are good in this game, but not great.

Online
It's now very difficult to find a game beecause nobody plays it anymore!

Longevity
Because of the caimpaign length and lack of people online, this game will only keep you satisfied for around a week or two.

Plane List
f-16
Mirage2000-s
A-10a
Tornado GR.4
f/a-18a
f-2a
f-14d
su-33
F-15E
Rafale M
f-117a
typhoon
f-22a

Most are pretty fun to fly and that's a good reason the game is fun!

My personal rating: 7/10

The reason i rated it this is because of what i listed above

Synopsis:

God of War III is an action-adventure video game released (as the fifth God of War game) by Sony Computer Entertainment's Santa Monica division for the PlayStation 3 in March 2010.[3][4] The game achieved an aggregate score of 92% on both GameRankings and Metacritic.
Based on Greek mythology, the game focuses on protagonist Kratos, and forms part of a saga (the sixth chapter in the God of War series) with vengeance as a central theme.
Kratos and his initial allies, the Titans, storm Mount Olympus in an attempt to kill Zeus and the Olympian Gods.

Gameplay:

I personally do not own a PS3. But a good friend of mine does. This game is very fun. Each weapon that you use, has it's own magical abilities. The power of each magic ability increases by upgrading the weapon to which each is linked too. The gameplay is pretty intense and is filled with action. I recommend this game to any PS3 owner.

Graphics:

The graphics in this game is really good in my opinion. Everything looks realistic. The movements are great. Just a very good game filled with outstanding graphics. Here are some pictures.

9.50- Skyrim has a great variety of gameplay, skills and graphics. You can play for 100's of hours without even beginning the main quest! The game is overall amazing for any RPG players with its MASSIVE variety everyone will have their own story! The only problem is that there are a few glitches, like random flying objects, and the characters still look a little awkward like in previous Bethesda titles, yet Skyrim is still a solid game for all players alike!

Release Date: 2008
Developers: Electronic arts
Publishers: EA Games
Platforms: PS3, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS
Genre: Sport
Players: Ronaldinho, Rooney, Peter Crouch + More!

Synopis: FIFA Street 3 is a video game for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo DS. It is the third game in the FIFA Street series. Electronic Arts confirmed that a third FIFA Street game was being developed for next-generation consoles to be released in 2008. The game will be using the same engine from NBA Street Homecourt, while the AI from FIFA 08 is being brought across. They also promised improved control over its predecessors. Rather than lifelike simulation, the game's emphasis will be on arcade-style fun. The cover features Brazilian star Ronaldinho, English star Peter Crouch, and Italian star Gennaro Gattuso.

Gameplay: The game has a Single player exibition mode and a multiplayer mode which is used for Xbox Live. The game comes with a DLC with extra achievements to increase your gamerscore. The game is fun but I feel the developers lacked with being imaginative with unlocking achievements because to be honest they are so easy to get and worth alot of Gamerscore!

Graphics: The game may be great but I feel it felt like graphics from the early 2000's. But the game still is great fun and much better than most games I have played! If you have some left over money, i would advise you to get this!

Grand Theft Auto 2

Release Date: September 30th, 1999
Developers: DMA Designs, Tarantula Studios
Publishers: Rockstar Games
Platforms: PC, PS2, Dreamcast, Game Boy
Genre: Action
Players: 1
Rating: T, M for PS1 and Game Boy Color

Synopsis

A sequel to the hit video game Grand Theft Auto, this game once again puts the player in the role of an aspiring thug hoping to climb to the top of the criminal world by completing missions and terrorizing the citizenry. In this version, however, each city has been divided by rival gangs that will gain or lose respect for you based on your actions. The police have also beefed up their forces, and will call out the SWAT teams or even the National Guard should the regular beat cops prove insufficient.

Gameplay

In GTA 2, the topdown view is still in use from GTA 1, which was taken out when GTA 3 was released, but is found in the game. GTA 2 has several gangs located in all parts of the city, in which you can increase or decrease respect with the group. All gangs have a custom emblem and gang car.

Multiplayer

When the game first came out, the internet connection was bad as hell. Jokes, but you could barely connect to ANY game. When the GTAMP tool was released though, the connection was easier and better. Simple gamemodes were TDM, Deathmatch, Tag and more.

Graphics

The graphics were basically on par with the time of the game's release. Nothing was in HD, everything was just basic

Final Thoughts

A classic game which set a standard for all open-world sandbox games.Definite 8.5/10

Live for Speed

Release Date: July 13, 2003 (S1); June 24, 2005 (S2)
Latest Release: Patch 0.6B : June 17, 2011
Developers: Scawen Roberts, Eric Bailey and Victor van Vlaardingen
Publishers: Scawen Roberts, Eric Bailey and Victor van Vlaardingen
Platforms: Windows, Mac
Genre: Racing
Players: 1-32 (Online)
Rating:E

Description

Live for Speed or LFS for short, is a racing simulator developed by a three person team comprising Scawen Roberts, Eric Bailey, and Victor van Vlaardingen. The main focus is to provide a realistic racing experience for the online multiplayer game and to allow single player races against AI cars. Users can set personal bests which can then be uploaded to LFSWorld in hotlap mode, and take driving lessons in "training" mode

Gameplay

Another car game, it seems, but considering I've played this game for almost 5 years, going back to playing it is always fun. The cars in the are mostly fictional cars, but through licenses, several cars from the real world have been introduced into the game such, as the Formula BMW, and the Raceabout. This game is nothing like console racing games, or "arcade simulator", LFS has several realistic racing aspects including fueling, tire usage and different racing surfaces. Plus, you fit your car with a custom skin. These skins can be found anywhere or you can make them yourself.

Multiplayer

This is where all the fun happens, in Multiplayer, you can create racing layouts, host Drift meets, or simply join a racing server and duke it out. Downloading the game from the site, you start with a demo license and only have access to 3 cars and 1 track. The highest license is S2 which is $38 USD(24 GBP), which grants access to all 20 cars and 7 tracks, or the S1 license, which only grants access to half the cars and tracks but is only $19 USD(12 GBP), The game uses an "insim" which enables stats but has to enabled off-game. These in-game modifications can either be for a Cruise, Drift, or a Drag racing server.

Graphics

This game's graphics can be compared to other high-profile racing games, if not, are probably better. Then again, it is a PC only game. Plus, several real-life tracks have rendered to look almost the same as the real thing.

Final Thoughts

For the amount of work put into this game by only three people, and how this game hardly gets any recognition. 10/10

Major League Baseball: 2K11

Specs
Players: 1-2
Platform: Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii
Multipler: 2-64 Players
Publisher: 2K

Synopsis
Grow your beards, rip open a bag of sunflower seeds, and send your thumbs to the bullpen because its time for Major League Baseball 2K11. For the diehard PlayStation 3 fans out there, you have options when it comes to baseball. For you Xbox 360 owners out there, this is the only Show in townwhich isnt necessarily a bad thing considering that MLB 11: The Show has adopted the analog control scheme made popular by 2K Sports. But if you are expecting changes in epic proportions in this years game, think again.

Gameplay
The gameplay is pretty fun if you are into sports, especially baseball. You play just about every position, depending on where the ball is headed. You use the buttons on the xbox and playstation controllers ase the bases (1st, 2ed, 3rd, and home base. Also the pitchers mound.) The way the AI play is awesome. They are not really dumb at all as long as you don't make them dumb. You can adjust the AI difficulty but I have never messed with that in this years game. When you do mess with that part of the game though, the AI will actually be as bad as you set them. The gameplay is GREAT though.

Gameplay Rating: 9/10 (Sports players)

Graphics
The graphics are magnificent. Maybe because all and every sports game has good graphics no matter what, but the graphics are just good. The clothing they wear folds and flops when running, the fans are 3D and the grass waves in the wind. The clouds and birds are moving constantly. You sometimes can even see planes flying in the sky. The way you hit and catch the ball is so realistic. Graphics are great.

Graphics Rating: 8/10

Multiplayer
The multiplayer is fun. You can play with up to 64 players, or 2. You can play against or with each other in a full season. There is also some downloadable stuff, leaderboards, and voice chat. Every new MLB game 2K releases, they host a challenge worth $1,000,000 for whoever can pitch the first perfect game. That is fun to try to win (I got to inning 7 then someone hit the ball). I was so sad. Haha. The multiplayer is fun but tricky.

Multiplayer Rating: 8/10

Conclusion
This is a great game, baseball players unite! If you want a break from that mainstream CoD then play this (Or halo, BF3). This game is fun and easy to play.

Voicing my opinion;

If you've played through COD4's main campaign then you will know, you will know exactly were I am coming from. In my life I have played hundreds of online
games, and this was the first ever game I have thought wow! this is great! this game is one of the most intense, fluid and expertly paced shooters ever creatted.

Well the basic concept of this platform type is the average '1st person shooter' basic's nothing special other than graphics, images, layouts and storylines. Although the brand new to 'Call of duty XBOX 360' Online/split-screen and System link! Multiplayer, sales increased at a fast pace.

You know the original sort of drill, You start off in a fairly boring, dull training situation, however it's not long before you're thrown into a mission that you then have to some how 'Raid' a ship at sea in very stormy conditions. Taking out some of the bad dudes and epically racing to escape the sinking messed up ship. It's a fantastic introduction to the game and the action never lets up from start to finish.

Infinity ward wants you to think "wow this is the best 1st person shoooter out!" Makes you think, You WANT to storm that house; you WANT to keep on pushing through the town to take out the target; ultimately you could be the hero who takes out the terrorists army and saves the day!

Of course this is an impressive game, But everyone knows since the fact it is the fourth and is much better than any other call of duty, their will be another, which will also be better than this one in some sort of way.

Of course, the most impressive thing about COD4, as a game, is that it's managed to include both an engaging single player experience and a awesome (and addictive) multiplayer syestem. Simply put, the game's multiplayer is good enough that it could have been released as a stand alone game. Although there are no multiplayer achievements to be had. The game's XP system is so addictive that you'll soon be wondering where the last six hours went. There are so many different modes to multiplayer from free-for-all and team deathmatch through to domination, headquarters, sabotage and finally the brain exposing search and destroy! that most gamers' preferences should be met .

Every kill that you get gives you points, which allowos you to level up and gain access to better weapons and perks, such as Last Stand, a grenade launcher, deeper bullet penetration and more health. The awesome part is that you can actually see your XP as you play the game, with "+10 popping up as you kill someone online. You can also level up mid-match, which is enough to give you a huge cheekyy smiled and keep you hooked for another round. The maps themselves are also designed masterfully. You can opt to play the game hard and fast, a la Counterstrike, or you can form a group of like-minded tactical souls and try to defend a particular point against assault. It's this kind of accessibility with optional depth that makes COD4's multiplayer one of the best that we've seen in the type of gam.

Some gamers may dis-agree which To be honest is completely true, all Call of duty's are the same BUT they are forgetting how when every single call of duty has been released, you hit the big 'A' Button on multyplayer, the suspence building up inside you waiting for a game in a lobby the little bit of emotions building up inside as you take your first steps the effects in the background boggling your mind, how every time you fire that M40A3 And get that clear head shot the little 'ting' noise or maybe when you prestige and you may have to do it again, but heyyyyy it looks good?
