Does anyone else find the medals you receive in Reach pointless? I'm talking about the little things that pop up when you get kills like revenge, first strike, close call and the like.

I'm wondering if this is just me but I'm really getting tired of hearing close call and revenge yelled at me every other kill.

But yes they are pointless but it wouldnt be halo without the guy yelling at you ;)

I love them , i think i wouldnt enjoy halo's as much i do now if those wouldnt exist.

Not even necessarily those one's i'm just saying in general. I just feel like they've amped up that guys voice so much. I play with a surround sound headset and I'll just be playing and I feel like someone's scaring me from behind every time I get one of those medals.

I dunno just my opinion I guess.
