obviously, there is no HARD evidence. but it's more that you believe. How do you explain the world and who created it if not for God? People believe in God for hope and faith, proof isn't needed if it gives some1 a reason in life. Many people see God as not a physical being, but a metaphoric for an inner existence within man, perhaps the conscience.
Also many people believe that the stories in the bible are not meant to be taken literally, instead are metaphors for what people believed was the creation of the world. I.E. tHE 7 DAYS MAY HAVE REPRESENTED 7 TIME PERIODS.

I myself do not believe in god, but you should recognise the reasons why people do.

there are some interesting explanations on both sides of the story. im catholic i beleive in god but i dont critisize those who dont. although when i feel threatened through my religon meaning your funny because you beleive in god, i find that offensive. first things first i follow the saying or theory whatever you want to call it that god was not created by someone. also the bible i beleive is not a hundred percent truthful considering its been changed overtime so its not the best source. however there are scriptures from multiple accounts explaining the works of jesus as magic pretty much. if you have multiple people saying this it becomes a more trustable source. i beleive there are more scriptures that we have not found yet as well. also for all you science followers i can respect you more then the people who say hes not real and have no theory. for those people how do you know hes not real? you have no right to say he is or isnt real if u dont have a theory. also science has also proven there has to be a great force which most consider god. so dont contridict yourself and make science followers look like hipocrits. anyway i hope there is a god
