Ok, so i have been looking into buy a cap card for myself, so that i can record/stream my xbox. and so far all the cap cards that i could use to play in sd(standard definition) seem alright, but dont always seem to have the best quality, yet, i have an HD LCD computer monitor right next to me for my computer gaming. which is right next to my xbox
So, i was wondering, do you guys think it is possible for me to be able to hook my xbox up to my computer and then just record and play in hd on my computer screen, and then just cut the tv out of the picture

Cause here i what i was thinking, i was going to buy the black magic intensity pro cap card for my computer, and run my xbox straight into it HD style, and then just play it on my monitor as well
My concern is though, is that there is going to be a slight lag, that i wouldnt have if it was plugged into the tv, or, the screen that i would end up playing on would be to small to even play on

So if you guys have any ideas, that would be awesome

Thanks,
Chris

EDIT:

Ok, so i found some info online, and i guess i can play my xbox 360 through my lcd monitor, yet, how would i be able to record is now the question i am running into, so if you guys got any ideas, lay them on me

Thanks,
Chris

Thanks for the find,

The one thing though, is that if you play through a cap card, there is a slight lag, that i wouldnt get on the tv, so if i hook up directly to my monitor, the question now, is that how am i going to find a way to record my gameplay, if i play it through my monitor

EDIT:

Will a mod please close this, i figured out how i would do this and i dont need help anymore

Thanks,
Chris
