Howdy All,
I have been looking up all the xbox modding forums today, and decided to join this one.
I am a psychologist and game programmer, and i work for my own business, contracting out to some big game studio's. Gaming is my life, and recently I have been finding myself not only developing, but playing console games A LOT more, and I am hooked. (I was primarily a PC Games person, but lately that line has blurred)
I can HOPEFULLY teach people anything to do with hardware and software modification, and all it's intricate facets. I have a passion for creating screencast guides to help others out, so if there is a tutorial you are after, feel free to PM me with a request.
I also have access to A LOT of files and games due to my job, so if there is something someone needs, also feel free to PM me. Obviously I cannot advocate piracy, but sometimes there are specifics one might need (such as texture dumps etc)
Well I must go make dinner, but I look forward to chatting with you all in the future.

Welcome.
Dealing with games is awesome as you get to see, play and have an effect on the final output of a game. I have ALWAYS loved games, so to play them and develop them is a dream come true...yes.
It is also a nightmare, i DO work for myself, but i basically whore myself out. I have worked for Activision, Blizzard, Infinity Ward...etc and that can at most times be hell, as you have to adapt to a whole new business mentality/politics EVERY time you take on a new project. Being the boss only makes it worse.
But not to digress, i F***NG love it, and wouldnt change it for the world.

Thank You. Yes it is a nice job, gaming conventions Like E3 being highlights of the year. Also things like playing Future Soldier are awesome, the unprofessional side comes out in me sometimes when i like to brag I have played it to friends of mine. Things like that, make the job worth it. EA, well they make me wish i took up toilet cleaning.

Benidgo. Which is a 'quaint' (desolate, small and boring) country town in Victoria. I do travel though a fair bit for work, the States and parts of Europe mostly, but this "S**thole" of a town is home.
SA huh?? I used to live in that hotel in Hindmarsh Square for about 9 months. Top Floor. Wasn't too bad.

Ha, I'm in same vote, living in Mount Gambier, small, desolate, boring, non eventful, etc etc...
