weve had it pritty bad in ireland to0. Yes, i heard a cop in cockermouth got washed away with a bridge tryin to help a family accross. not sure about his chances at this stage.

no i think they are very slim indeed. And yes, i have been off school. It was closed due to the flooding

Well he is missing, which is better than being dead, however much i hate the police i still really hope the guy is ok

Just heard on the news that they have found a body on the beach in cockermouth which is just a few miles down the road where the police officer was washed away, they have not confirmed who it is yet but reports say the body was wearing a police uniform.....So sad, the officer is married with 4 children...........

i know, i just heard that as well. It is terrible. And the confirmed reason of why he was on the bridge was to stop people going on it to get a better view

Thats very ironic.....he sacrificed himself for others,very noble.
