I would totally jailbreak it because it is really worth it because you can get so many things. Like emulators for GBA, N64, free games, and more!

I Have an Iphone 3Gs Jail broken all of my friends are in love and play with it if you dont have warranty i suggest if have warranty wait till its over hope this helps

There is NO downside you can always restore it back to normal on iTunes anyway but even more than free apps (because I actually pay for mine) just the customization etc is worth it too that you can do with icons ring tomes wallpapers etc is worth it alone and you can put emulators and stuff it's really cool.
