Okay, so I have repaired a few xboxes using the x clamp replacement, but it didn't always work. I am looking for a new way to repair the trod and I have seen many tutorials on how to reflow with a heatgun. I just want to make sure this is the right thing to do before I go out and buy a heatgun. So from what I understand, you heat the bottom of the motherboard on the low setting for one minute, then the top on the high setting for 4 minutes, but only focusing On the chips. Is this correct? Much appreciation

I know a different way to repair RROD, and it does work.

I haven't heard of this one before.
