So there are many of you i see saying its free... Blabla bla yes the Basic things are free. But in other words if you want the premium things from Elite which havent been announced yet( maybe early unlocks, camos, XP, ETC) you have to pay a fee for the premium things. The Basic things are basically just map summarys, stats tracker, ETC kind of things. So to stop the arguing yes you have to pay a fee and at the same time you dont if you want basic.

I believe it is still Free-to-Play Modern Warfare 3, but you just get more options and abilities with a [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] account.
Basically, it's probably going to limit the game to only the most hardcore after a month or two. Then those left will only have other elite gamers to play against. Which will probably bore them because there are no more noobs around to make them feel like gods.
