where in here did i mention the online costing money? It clearly says the ELITE SUBSCRIPTION will cost money. Go read the article

You get the standard service with ELITE which is just being able to view your stats but they want you to pay for the premium service so you can get better deals on DLC. You end up paying for it in the long run. You either buy premium or buy the DLC for $15.
