it is fair because they have banned you for doing something wrong and i feel it IS fair not to refund you for your microsoft points
but if you ring microsoft they wiill maybe unban it but certainly take off auto renewal for you

you broke the terms of use you agreed to when you joined XBL (i highly doubt you read them along with 95% of its members)

Honestly, if they banned your account, they had a pretty good reason.
So yes, they are fair. It's not their fault you bought the MSP before you got banned.
Don't do whatever you did to get yourself banned again

But surely wouldn't it be courteous to let out warnings such as; "breach this terms and agreement rule x amount more times, then a sufficient ban will be put in place". Instead, they think, "lets leech him for his money and effectively f*** him over." Now atleast be fair enough to allow me a fraction of what i had NOT SPENT through points, or other reedemable codes..
