after i install the piston mod and open my regulat bukkit server
and try to make a piston it appears for a second then goes before i can drag it to my inventory

any will i wil rep

The Piston mod is a client mod, not a server mod. You can't use the Single Player pistons in a multiplayer server.

But there is a Bukkit plugin that lets you use Iron Blocks as pistons.
