MW2 Carnival Map

Amusement/Theme Park Map with roller coasters, fun houses, corn dog stands, etc. Not a war torn city that looks beat up. Just an empty carnival. Lots of vantage points. Snipers will like the top of roller coasters with great sight lines. If you can control the fun house on objective based games, you'll be good to go. Day time map.


MW2 Trailer Park Map

Very tight corridor map. Very tight corners on this map so you'll have to decide the way you want to make your way through. Supposedly tighter than Salvage. This is the living quarters for the people who run the "boneyard" from single player.


MW2 Fuel Map

This map is contesting Overgrown as one of the largest maps for MW2. It is a sniper friendly map with some long sight lines but also a warehouse for the run & gun and objective based players.

On the old maps below, they have made some things different for MW2


Vacant Map

Wide open russian office complex. The gate in the back of the complex that is closed is now opened for some game types to spice some things up.


Strike

Strike is an urban town with the big monument in the middle of the town surrounded by hotels.


SUMMARY

The map pack will hit Xbox Live on June 3rd and other platforms at least 30 days later (doesn't mean July 3rd, could be later than that). The cost will remain 1200 MSPs.

One thing that was discussed about changing was the way the maps will be integrated. Instead of having a specific play list for the new maps, they should be integrated right away into the playlists as well as having their own playlists.
