ok, i haven't used my jtag since the new dashboard came out. however system links did work for a while. i got on today to systewm link for the first time in alomost a year and i have this update. how can i get past this so i can use my jtag again.

what dash are you currently on 12611 or newer,try installing the latest dash launch.If you recently updated using freeboot download the update for avatar and kenect update put on usb and on boot up it you will get that msg just update (its safe as long as you have used freeboot to update first)
heres the sys update for 12625

i will try this. i still havent put the kinect dashboard on it yet. i have had it for a while but i am still kinda newbish with all this stuff. is there a tut on how to update it. sorry for acting retarded but i just dont want to f**k it up

try dashlaunch first, just to save updating.

go to,
"My Xbox"
Then the tab to the left of system settings (i forgot what its called)
Then where it says "Xbox Live Acess" Click on it,
Then press "Block Acess"

Then it wont be able to connect to XBL and get any update from the server.

I did this. It's under the family setting part of systems tab. But I still get update code. I think I'll have to update via USB. Thx
