Hi, when I turn on my Jtag, nothing shows on the screen. When I hit the eject button, it tries to look for files when I plug in my USB (I'm assuming it is probably not on my Jtag).
When i turn it on without my USB, it says its missing media. You will see what I mean in the video. There are overviews of what I think is important for you to know. Sorry for the tilt and bad quality . Thanks for your help!

How does this interfere with the actual jtag starting up. I put my retail's HDD and still stays the same.

I had this Problem but i fixed it by doing this
Step1
Turn it off and take 2 Qtips And Block the fans in the Back of the Jtag.
Step2 Turn on the Jtag
Step3 Wait for about 5mins
Step4 Turn off the Jtag
Step 5 Remove the Qtips
Step 6 Turn on Jtag And Walla
Send me a message if this fixed it ;]

do not do the qtip thing
due to the fact your jtag is booting xell but wont go to dash you need to take your last working freeboot image and name it updflash.bin and put it on the root of ur usb then leave the console in xell for awhile and it should start writing the updflash to you console. once complete unplug your usb and the console should boot

Take your jtag apart, and take off the heat sinks, Re-apply the thermal paste, put it back together, Take out the fans, Leave it to overheat for about 30 mins so the thermal paste gets into place. Then leave it to cool down and it should be okay.
