Ok so i have a 120gb harddrive from my laptop and how can i make it work for my 360 ?

umm how do i get it to go on my 360 to use it as my harddrive ? ik you can do it and that would be boss for a free 120 gb harddrive

You can't use an external hard drive on the Xbox 360. You can only use MS's HDDs, Memory Units, and USB flash drives for storage.

Only as a media device; you can't store profile or game information on it which I'm sure the OP wants.

Yo cannot use external HDDs. They must be: A microsoft HDD, flash drive, or something else i cant remember at the moment(sorry ).
