I'm pretty sure IW wouldn't delete the servers for one of the top selling XBOX360 games.
Halo2 was deleted because it was a Xbox Original game. And all the servers for the original got shutdown.
The CoD4 servers are just simply down. They'll be up when the problems are fixed
