Couldnt you just take your case off your xbox to help keep it cool?

yea i do that tip on my elite and i have a little computer fan blowing are into the plastic mesh on the little area next to the hdd. For example if your xbox is horizontal, to the right of the hdd theres a mesh piece. I took the fan cut its cord and soldered it to an electric plug. I have it plugged in to the wall and when my xbox is off its constantly blowing are in to the xbox, even when my controller is done charging.

do you mean 'air', what you could do is remove the hard drive to increase the area the air is being blown into, but still not as effective as having the air sucked out
