Well i came up with a simple solution for all thoughts gone into thinking how jtags can connot to live once again.
The latest dashboards after 9199 are as follows:
12611
12625
13146
All of the newer update will have more checks than the previous dashboard update. Thing would make their servers more secure and safe from attack using a jtag (i am not saying you can hack ms).
Having the 9199 dashboard on your console with all removed/reversed checks and spoofing that the console is on the latest dashboard may be the answer.
I am not saying that this is true or could work in anyway. I am simply saying that people maybe looking to far and are going off course.

It's a nice effort, but several flaws:
1) Not every Dashboard adds more checks, sometimes just different styles, etc.
2) It is actually impossible to spoof a dashboard into thinking it's a different one, in this case, 13146.

Its a good theory to bad it will never happen because you cant spoof the dashboard

Well it's not really is it ? Dashboard update add more security checks to mkae sure their servers aren't broken by code. If there were no updates to the security then it would be easy to get online.

Spoofing can be done. A jtag image isnt an actual update. It hides the original dashboard making the console think it needs no further updates. Thats spoofing.

most of the hoster's are on 9199 and they are spoofing the dash but the problem is finding the way to spoof it >:O
