Well ive just found a glitch on how to get online on black ops with a silver account. This is what you do
1. Join a game with your main profile with gold on it
2. Get a kill and leave the game
3. As you leave, sign out and sign back in on your silver account as fast as possibe.
4. Once logged in you should be able to play online and even join xbox live parties
Please try this out and tell me if this has worked for you
