WaW wasn't IW so it isn't really considered CoD 5, and no where have they ever called it that. Same with MW2, does it says CoD 6, MW2? No, It says MW2 that's why we call it that now CoD6.

ben1471 wrote i read a post somewhere that was talking about cod 7 and wondering what was going on because cod modern warfare 2 is just out and then i found this :-

Treyarch senior animator David Kim has let slip that Call of Duty 7 is under development at the studio behind Call of Duty: World at War by listing it on his LinkedIn profile.
"I am currently on my second title as a senior animator in the games industry with Activision / Treyarch on Call Of Duty 7," reads Kim's profile, superannuation spotted.

Call of Duty 7--no doubt a working title--may be expected next year given Activision's commitment to annual releases of its major franchises, and its "leapfrog" strategy which has seen Infinity Ward and Treyarch alternate CoD entries these past few years.

Kim's Call of Duty 7 listing follows recent rumors that the sequel could be set in the Vietnam War era, based on the tunes Activision is supposedly seeking to license.

Well. Treyarch has better games than IW. Why? IW fails at glitches! There are way too much. Some aren't patched yet. And they make the story go on to a 3rd one? Rofl. But Treyarch is always best because since MW2 went different....what do you think Trey is going to do!?!?!

I agree, I think if Treyarch made MW2 it would have been a much better game. I think its funny how everyone was bashing Treyarch for WaW because they stole from IW, but now everyone is hating on IW. I kinda want to play WaW now lol

I hope so because I do agree WaW was the best one IMO even though I HATE WW2 games, but Nazi Zombies really got me into the game with getting use to WW2 weapons and without a doubt I'm 100% they will bring back the Zombie mode in the new one and I cant wait.
