Everytime i'm trying to restore my ipod i get a error 1611 if you help me fix it i'll give you $2 on paypal PLEASE HELP ME!!!

I NEED MY IPOD FIXED

Its a ipod touch 2gen

EDIT: it was jailbroken before this error

It's your itunes. Download a older version. If your trying to restore to jailbreak, theres helpful forum on here. But if your ipod isn't jailbroken, then that's just iTunes again. Sorry about that

Uninstall itunes and re-install it. Unplug your iphone. Reboot your PC, then before everything else start iTunes, then only plug-in you device.
Put it in DFU (hold sleep-wake + home approx 10 sec then let sleep-wake go. iTunes should detect a device in recovery).

Then restore with your firmware. Worked for me
