I am turning 16 soon and I am getting my dads 2007 DTS Caddy with a V8 engine. I want to do some modifications to it (sound system, tint the windows more, get better rims) and I want to make the car sound a deeper like a muscle car. I know nothing about cars, I am very car illiterate...so I came here looking for someone with some sort of knowledge with exhaust.
I have been looking at exhausts and stuff..but I have no idea what I am looking for. I don't know what parts to get, how much I have to get, etc. I was looking at these [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] but is that all I need? I want my car to sound like this:

(I know its not the same model as my car, just showing an example)

Anyways, here is what the stock exhaust looks like now: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Can anybody help me out a bit?

For a sound system either go with Rockford Fosgate's or go with Mayhem 18 inch subwoofer.

For exhaust I know how to get a deeper and louder exhaust on a truck but not a car and all you have to do for a truck is get straight pipe which is a straight exhaust with the bends and turns to reduce the noise or you can go open headers which most people like better.

Thanks for the sound tip, I appreciate it. Yeah I am sort of guessing it is different for a car...

Would I have to get 2 mufflers then, one for each side?
