What is the Point of Life?
Now I know you might say it is for our children for future generations, or for the future achievements of mankind, space, etc. Well, what I think about this is that there is no Point in life. I think this because, well if we do help out our children, for future generations, then I mean like whats the point? We'll all die any ways when the sun blows up, or because of us. But then, if you say "well, what if we find another planet to inhabit?" Then I will say, "Whats the point? Yea, well create floating cars, nuclear bombs, cure for cancers and whatnot. But, when you really think about it, whats the point? After we do all this we are just left with nothing. After you achieve everything, there just stops being a point into everything. It's like when you get something new, like in Call of Duty Multiplayer. Now I'm not hating on CoD, I'm a big fan of it, I'm just saying that after you continuously level up until you hit the last prestige, max level, all the challenges, everything, it just sort of gets boring. Like there was no point in the beginning." Now for all you people that believe in God, saying that he is the Purpose of life and all, I'm going to have to stop you right here. I'm Atheist, so I don't think God had anything to do with life. Now I don't want this thread to become a Flame Wars over if God is real or not. I would just like a simple answer to my simple question.

Afrowhateveryournameis, You should consider therapy.
There IS a point to life you just have to find it.

The point of life is whatever you want it to be.
The better humanity, to further understand the universe, to prepare yourself for another life, etc.
As for what's the point after everything is achieved, well, I guess people will find out when we get there. Maybe there's another plane of existence for us to move to and begin learning again.
The universe is infinite, there is not going to be an end.
