Shangri-La Easter Egg Text Tutorial
Step 1: Stepping Stones
-Activate the eclipse by having all four players press the four buttons around quick revive by holding X at the same time.
-Press the button next to the MPL by holding X
-Match the stones on the ground. Stones appear by the bridge and near the mine cart. Have one player call out symbols while the other player finds them. The player calling out steps on the symbol, calls out what it is, and quickly gets off. Then the player that finds them finds the symbol and steps on it. Once the finder is steping on the symbol, the caller steps back on it and it disappears. Continue this for all 12 symbols.
Step 2: Pressure Plate
-Activate eclipse
-3 players slide down the water slide and stand on the pressure plate(hint: the players talk when your standing on it)
-4th player slides down and presses lever on the way down by holding X (hint: Keep holding X on the way down if you don't Know exactly where it is)
Step 3: Shrink the Crystal
-Activate eclipse
-Throw grenade or shoot ray gun at the meteorite that crashed above the water slide. (Anything that explodes will work)
-A crystal will fall and you must shoot it will the shrink ray.
-Next, knife it and it will go down the water slide.
-Then go up the geyser once the crystal floats to it.
Step 4: Guiding the Napalm
-Activate eclipse
-Release gas by turning the valve inside the tunnel with one of the Pack-A-Punch switches.(hint: tunnel near MPL) Do so by holding X and turn it 4 times.
- Get a napalm and guide it through the underground caves lighting the gas from the pipes on fire. (hint: 4 gas leaks need to be lit)
-Circle back around once the gas is lit and pull the lever next to the valve by holding X.
Step 5: Clogging the Holes
-Activate eclipse
-Place Spikemores in front of the four small holes in the tunnel with the MP5K. Have zombies trigger the claymores and clog the holes with the spikes.
-Once the holes are clogged, press the button an the wall under the water fall that says "Do not press X"
Step 6: Knifing the Symbols
-Activate eclipse
-Knife 12 symbols scattered around the map (hint: same as step 1)
-Blow up the snare trap out of the map near the mine cart by throwing a grenade at it (or anything that explodes)
Step 7: Mud Pit Dials
-Activate Eclipse
-Set far right dial near the bridge side to 16 [|-
-Set the dial opposite that to 1.
-Set the dial diagonal to that one to 3.
-Set the dial opposite that one to 4.
Step 8: Gongs/Dynamite/Focusing Stone
-Activate eclipse
-All four players knife the 4 gongs at the same time that don't have a weird sound at the beginning. (hint: If you knife one of the gongs thats makes the weird sound, one of the crystals will turn red.)
-Shoot the crystal with the dynamite on it near the mine cart with the upgraded shrink ray.(dynamite may appear in different places, not sure)
-Catch the dynamite.
-Use the upgraded shrink ray to shoot the crystal near the big meteorite (hint: it shrinks the meteorite)
-Activate the Pack-A-Punch.
-Place the dynamite in then wall in front of the Focusing Stone by holding X.
-Back up to the stairs and wait for wall to be gone.
-Retreive the Focusing Stone by holding X.
*If you want to get more than one Focusing stone so that several people can have all the perks you have to listen to the radio at the bottom of the Pack-A-Punch stairs by holding X. Then you repeat all of these steps to get another focusing stone!
