Offering to trade Xbox LIVE or in-game services for Microsoft Points or money this is From TimmeH20
-Having a flashed xbox(This results in a console Ban Be careful if you have one it depends on wether or not how carefully you play it)
-Modded avatar(Results in perma-Banned thank you to AK74u for suggesting this)

-Innapropriate Bio (Most Common Suspensions range from 24 hour to 1 month)
-Offensive Gamertag (You get one chance to change for free)
-Cheating in a game (1 week to 1 month suspension
-Rude Language(Very rare suspensions go up to a week)
-Gamertag modding(Extremely rare results in a 1 month suspension)
-Controller Mods(Very rare to be banned for this this results in a 1 day to 1 week suspension)
-Glitching the game (Common if you do annoying glitches but very rare unless you annoy others who file a complaint this results in a 1 week suspension)
-Modding Amount of years played such as crowns(1st offense results in year reset repeated offenses will result in ban)

Its ovious that in order not to be banned from Xbox live you dont do any of the following especially not modding. Microsoft has stepped up their game and wont give you chances for modding they updated their enforcement policy and anyone caught with infections (Mostly for cod) will get a permanent account ban so be smart and dont be the person wining about getting banned or be sneaky and careful and remember what you can be banned for

Information about flashed Xbox's
Flashed Xbox's are basicly a modified Drive within the xbox.What a flashed xbox alows you to do is play burned games,flashed xbox's are illegal and are tools for piracy they allow the use of getting games early,Use Modified ISO Disks, and much more but result in a console ban of your xbox.
Information about the JTAG
JTAGS are the most well known modding device used.JTAGS are custom made and are very difficult to make you need programs to know if your Console is JTAGGABLE and you need to do alot of other things to make a JTAG witch i am not going to explain.JTAG'S allow a xbox360 to run unassigned codes witch allow the xbox to do countless things through Xex menu. Xex menu is used for many things such as modifying a game to the max rank(COD),installing games to your hard drive,etc.JTAGGED Xbox's are also very easy to detect if you go online with them this results in a console ban,the only way to get it unbanned is by using a key-vault(Wont go into detail what it is go to JTAG Modding Forum).Sadly JTAGS can no longer go online do to the Kinect Dashboard update but that doesnt mean there not fun anymore. There are few people who know how to get a JTAG online but currently there hasnt been a release to the public on how to(Witch is ignorant).

USB Modding
USB modding is the most common method of modding for people without the hardware mods. Usb modding ranges from GT Modding to GPD modding.The most common ways people get banned through USB Modding is mostly on COD WaW and modded Black ops Zombies.USB modding is nothing that major unless you use it to mod ranks and stats on Popular games.Be warned if you USB Mod make sure you know what your doing and stay away from modding online with a USB.
