right think of your xbox as a giant brain
if you do something to fast it goes into shock and you tend to get a bit clumsey and say the wrong thing
so you do something then backout 0.00000000009seconds later you xbox is going to get confused and do weird stuff isnt it!!!!!!!

I think that if your host it will default back to the last map you played on/ selected (even in a private match). The whole host migration thing...I have no idea.
