Not particularly. The AMD APUs like the A8 do not have very good processors or graphics. Build your own and get exactly what you want.
For the CPU, I recommend the AMD Phenom II 955 X4 if you are on a tight budget and the Intel 2500K if you are less restricted. 990X if money is no object.
