This morning I woke up saw my dog put some food in her bowl but she did not get up I was like whatever she probably is not hungry a couple hours go buy and she still has not gotten up all day for food water or anything so im like thats weird but I dont do anything 30 minutes roll by and I hear my dog crying I go over around the corner and see she is trying to get up but can only stand up with her front 2 legs so I took her to the vet and they say she has cancer and I ask so what should I do and they say well you could get a surgery to fix it but that will put her in a lot of pain and I said I dont think I want to go that way then I ask is there another option and he says yes you can wait a few months or until you notice she is not eating or drinking water and you can put her down. I could not make my mind up so I said I will go home and think and call back. She is my first dog/pet I have ever had and I dont want to loose her but I dont want her to suffer in pain. What should I do?

Dont flame this!

My dog has a lump but it is nothing serious he has been to the vet many times to get it checked out but I might get an operation to take it out cause it could lead to something bad in the future but it doesn't hurt him atm at all!

Some people say the kindest thing to do it put a dog down but i'd rather get the operation as it gives hope

My Dog Did That But Didnt Have Cancer She had Pavio Or Something Like That And They Said She Had A 25% Of Living But She Also Had a 75% Of ..Well Dying So I Pretty Much Thought She Was Going to Do Is Die But Then Like a Week Later She Got Normal And We Toke Her To The Vet And The Vet Said She Was Fine Now So Im Just Trying To Encourage You That Miracles Do Happen..

just Do What You Think Is better For Your Dog Dont Have TTG Members Decide For You

If she is in pain you can't let her suffer. If she can't move freely that isn't right. I would say put her down. It doesn't matter how much you love something, if they are in pain and you can fix it, you must.
But of course give it a while to see if it is really cancer or not. I would rush right into putting her down.

TBH about a year ago my dog had cancer and it got so bad to where he couldnt get up. So the best thing for him was to just put her down.
