ok so what is the point of a runescape private server

The point of a RSPS (Runescape Private Server) is that it offers easy leveling, way faster than Runescape, private servers can also have custom items, custom zones, and custom shops. Having these kind of features to offer would get a lot of people on to the Private Server.

No, RuneScape is not connected to a private server. In fact Jagex (Creators Of RuneScape) frowns upon them. In some cases legally shut them down for copyright violations and plagiarism.
