Just wait an hour Give the xbox a rest, unplug every thing and put it in a cool room.
after when you plug it in leave for another 10 mins then start it and do what ever you want to do

I didn't work, so i unplugged it and plugged it back in, then it did work. I shut the xbox off, now it has RROD again. I have tried different power bricks, let it sit for 30+ hours in the basement. Any other suggestions?

power your box up and wait till the rrod flashed... then you need to hold the eject button down and press the sync button ... this will give you a different flashing light thing ....
