Hello and today I will tell you how to check for viruses without a Anti-Virus software
and its really easy!. First open up task manager (Usually CTRL+ALT+DELETE or right clicking
the task bar and clicking Task Manager)Now that its open have a look in "Services" and "Processes" If you see something like bot.exe than there is a bot in your PC see easy! you can end the Process "bot.exe" and it will go away till the next time you boot up your PC.
But Anti-Virus software is still recommended to rid off the viruses COMPLETELY!

This will only work with really poorly scripted viruses. If you end the process it will pop right back up in a couple of seconds. Good to check for them but DEFINITELY not to remove them.

This isn't going to work for very badly made viruses. Most viruses will inject themselves into other processes or make their own with the same name as one needed by Windows.

My tips;
  • Always be careful with what you're downloading, check comments and the feedback.
  • If you're suspicious about ANYTHING run a virus scan. It doesn't take that much time and it will be worth it if you find anything.

I completely agree. Most virsus wont be found in the process tab unless you know the difference in usage and other such things.

And if you ever download a file from the net, always scan with this:
