It is called an avatar.

& You can upload it, or copy an image url into the box where it says "link to off site avatar"

He was asking how to change it. I gave him an answer. Rather than correcting people keep to the topic on hand.

if you are talking about pictures from like ur own camera all you have to do is plug your camera up to your xbox and transfer the picture over and then just save it as ur gamer picture

Make sure you have them saved somewhere within your PC. Go to the following image hosting website: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] then hit 'browse' and find the desired image you would like to show within the forums or add to your profile. Hit 'OK' then hit 'upload'. Once uploaded you can either right click and copy image URL or if that doesn't work then view the image information on the right hand side of the screen and copy the direct image URL. Once you have it copied go back to your TTG profile and go to account> edit profile and right click then paste it into where-ever depending on the size of the image.

You gave him an answer to up your own post count.

I've seen you do this several times now and it's quite annoying.
You rush your answers, and don't help the "topic on hand" like you
think you do. You can't get an avatar like that, instead like this:

1. Go onto [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] or [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
and upload the image, once uploaded copy the direct URL to the image.

2. Come to Tech Game, click on Account and then the link to update your
avatar, and paste the Image URL into the field, hit save and your done.

See? Instead of being a post count whore, actually give the answer.

You have to go to edit profile then at the bottom upload a photo or enter an image location.
