1.The most popular sport in America is American Football and the major league for American football is the NFL (National Football League)

Cricket is A LOT easier to understand than the likes of Baseball and Hockey.

Also, Union and League is neck and neck. As for protective gear, they do not wear a helmet! They wear a head guard, which is soft padding, but not a helmet.
