You can get banned for any mod or hack at any time! So yes! but the chance are soooo slim. I mean, they don't really care at this point!

well Rockstar stated they were not going to ban people and have unbanned all those who did modify their character as they believed it was their fault for having almost no security at all

yea ive been hacked to max prestige/level for a while and nothing has happened so you are good to mod it
