Minecraft keeps freezing on 'Downloading Packages' when I try to update it, and when I don't update it it freezes on 'Done Loading'.
PS: It's nothing to do with my anti-virus -_-

All you have to do is delete your .minecraft/bin/ folder and it should download correctly.
Go to the following directory:
Then delete /bin/.
Open up Minecraft and it should work correctly.
Go to the following directory:
C:\Users\<YOUR USER>\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft Then delete /bin/.
Open up Minecraft and it should work correctly.

Still didn't work
Oh, then the Minecraft.net server/s might be down.. I have been having some trouble logging on today so that might be why :S... If you want I can give a fresh .jar file for 1.7.3, just send me a PM
