WOW! thats crazy! had no idea you could do that.
So i was wondering. Would it still remove flash mods if you update offline?
And if it does maybe there's a file in there that could be deleted to prevent this, right?

That's false, just ignore it.

I even tried the USB method... it still gave me the same error even though I'm offline

yeah if you read the title this is strictly for a retail xbox not a jtag the jtag xbox one was realsed today by a friend of mine from 7sins Forums/t=1814058/release-fbbuild-...-dash.html they files to update the dash for your jtag this isnt an online method and will not get your jtag online this currently updates your dashboard .. no one is online hosting due to the fact retails cant connect to jtags .. the recovery system is the only way people are ranking up now 8)
