It is a gamers personal document I think. It stores your information for games.

Its a games document, that holds some information, like black ops GPD, if you use the map code to unlock five, if you go in the GPD, itll say that five is discovered and you wont have to type the code in again, or most GPDS have options of modding like said Black Ops(patched, with no way around it so dont ask)
