Has anyone ever suggested that you could get a pop out at the bottom right of the page, when you recieve a message or friend request and get the option to turn it off in account settings.

I know we have the notifications at the top right but i never look up there.

Please post your oponion on this and if it's been suggested already, sorry.

I don't like this idea, The top right notifications is very helpful in my opinion.
